Number 01-AWP-2124-OE

The center of the proposed 226 foot above ground level (AGL) 1,360 foot above mean sea level (AMSL) stadium would be located 12,431 feet east of the approach end and 781 feet south of the extended centerline of Runway 26 of the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The proposed structure is identified as an obstruction by exceeding the standards of Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 77, Subpart C, as follows:

77.23 (a) (2) by 26 feet, a height greater than 200 feet above ground level within 3 nautical miles of airport reference of the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

77.23 (a)(3) by 115 feet, a height that increases a minimum instrument flight altitude within a terminal area.

The planned future ILS RWY 26 LOC minimums scheduled for publication on 09/06/01 would be increased by 120 feet from 1,500 feet to 1,620.
