The City of Mesa, Arizona requested a 14-day time extension for submitting comments on the Environmental Assessment - Northwest 2000 plan. This time extension was requested to allow the east valley communities sufficient time to finalize a proposed alternative submission. The Federal Aviation Administration has granted this extension request. The new comment period will end at 5:00 p.m. (PDT) on September 24, 2001.
