FAA Agrees to Extended Comment Period for LAX Master Plan

The Federal Aviation Administration has approved a request to extend the public comment period for an environmental report on the proposed master plan for Los Angeles International Airport, the FAA said today.

Comments on the supplement to the draft environmental impact statement/environmental impact report for the proposed master plan are now due by Nov.7, 2003, at 5 p.m. PST. The request to extend the comment period was made by Los Angeles World Airports, which owns and operates LAX.
