Cardinal Stadium proposal public comment period extended

 

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is currently conducting an aeronautical study concerning a proposed multipurpose sports stadium in Tempe, Arizona. The existing Public Notice, which solicits interested persons to participate in the study by submitting aeronautical comments, states that comments must be received on or before 10/07/01.

Because of the disruption of normal airspace activities and processes caused by the recent national tragedy, the FAA has concluded it is in the best interest of the aeronautical fact-gathering portion of the study to extend the public comment closure date to 10/22/01.

For purposes of extension of the comment period, all descriptive data and known aeronautical effect cited on the original Public Notice remains unchanged.
