FAA withdraws Sierra Vista Municipal Airport Finding of No Significant Impact and Record of Decision.

 

The Federal Aviation Administration has withdrawn its Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and Record of Decision (ROD), dated Feb. 01, 2002, concerning the proposed transfer of approximately 203 acres of land from the U. S. Army’s Fort Huachuca to the city of Sierra Vista, Ariz., for Sierra Vista Municipal Airport. The FONSI/ROD was withdrawn as a result of a decision by Fort Huachuca and the city of Sierra Vista to terminate the proposed transfer of property.
